| | | | McDaniel appointed to new Winship nurse leadership role | Donna McDaniel, RN, MN, OCN will become the specialty director of oncology for the Winship at Emory Johns Creek and Buford campuses, beginning this summer. McDaniel, who joined Winship in 2002, has served in this role for the Winship Clifton campus since 2017.

| | American Cancer Society to host research symposia series | The American Cancer Society is hosting a series of mini-symposia on the epithelial–mesenchymal transition, engineered effector cells for immunotherapy, and other cancer research topics. All mini-symposia will feature a “3 short talks and a Q&A” format, with an emphasis on promoting a rich discussion among participants.
