Faculty, staff, trainees, volunteers, patients, and visitors will have an opportunity to sign the 8-foot steel beam when it travels to five Winship locations from Aug. 9 through Aug. 12. | | Wan joins Emory and Winship as renowned cancer biologist | Yong Wan, PhD, an internationally recognized cancer biologist, has joined Winship as a professor in Emory's Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology. He will serve as director for basic research for the Glenn Family Breast Center at Winship and will hold a secondary appointment in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology.

| | Winship teams awarded REM seed grants | The Regenerative Engineering and Medicine (REM) research center has awarded $300,000 in seed grant funding to three interdisciplinary teams and their innovative drug delivery research. Collaborators on the three funded projects include Winship investigators Drs. Shi-Yong Sun, J. Brandon Dixon, Zachary Buchwald, and Ravi Kane.
