| | | | Targeting radiation resistance: Why some tumors are so stubborn | Researchers from Georgia Tech and Emory, led by Drs. Melissa Kemp and Josh Lewis, are using genome-scale modeling to better understand tumor metabolism and variations in how different tumors respond to radiation therapy. The team is working on a tool to help clinicians more effectively predict and, potentially, improve radiosensitivity for individual patients.
