Kirschstein National Research Service Award (F31) from the National Cancer Institute. The award will support her project, “Methodological and molecular factors underlying racial disparities in cancer outcomes.”

| | Torres to co-lead NRG Oncology working group | Mylin Torres, MD, has been named co-leader of the Research Implementation Working Group of NRG Oncology's Health Disparities Committee. The committee's overarching goal is to understand and address health disparities in an effort to reduce the unequal burden of cancer in the U.S.

| | Mason joins Division of Surgical Oncology | Meredith C. Mason, MD, has joined Winship as an assistant professor in the Division of Surgical Oncology of Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Surgery. She treats tumors of the liver, biliary tract, pancreas and gastrointestinal tract, as well as neuroendocrine tumors, melanoma and sarcoma.
