| | Clinical trial led by Winship shows promise for HNSCC patients | Ninety-one percent of the participants with recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) experienced clinical benefit in a phase 2 trial of cabozantinib in combination with pembrolizumab. Winship oncologist Nabil F. Saba, MD, who led the study, recently presented the results during an oral abstract session at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
