Winship Oncology Nursing Symposium features locally, nationally and internationally recognized oncology leaders

The annual Winship Oncology Nursing Symposium, “Charting Your Path as an Oncology Nurse: Tales from the Trenches,” will be held Saturday, June 11. The virtual continuing education program, which offers up to 20 contact hours, is complimentary for Emory employees and discounted for participants from other institutions. McCullough receives Emory’s Distinguished Teaching Award
Winship investigator Lauren McCullough, PhD, MSPH, is among the recipients of the Emory Provost’s Distinguished Teaching Award for Excellence in Graduate and Professional Education for 2022. One faculty member in each of the seven graduate and professional schools is given the award in recognition of the important role of exceptional teaching in graduate and professional education.

Wynne selected for Holman Research Pathway
Emory radiation oncology resident Jacob Wynne, MD, has been selected to participate in the American Board of Radiology B. Leonard Holman Research Pathway. The program will enable Wynne to dedicate a portion of his residency to a mentored research project focused on machine learning methods to improve radiation therapy.
