About our lab

Our laboratory, located at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, focuses on studying the importance of membrane transport proteins to cancer, in particular adult and pediatric brain tumors.

Our Research

Our research investigates: (1) the importance of membrane transport proteins to development of disparate cancers; (2) ways to treat brain tumors and other cancers, including testing of various therapeutic strategies targeting membrane transport proteins; and (3) collaborative efforts to employ novel technology to aid delivery of therapeutics to cancerous cells.
