Annual Fund Programs
You can support Winship through various annual fund programs including: the Winship Director’s Fund, the Winship Discovery Fund, the Winship Patient and Family Resource Center and the Winship Patient Assistance Fund.
Winship Director's Fund
The Winship Director's Fund provides unrestricted support to areas of greatest promise in the fight against cancer. Ongoing annual gifts provide critical, flexible support that allows the director to invest in new ideas and strategic priorities throughout the year.
Winship Discovery Fund
Funding new ideas and top priorities, the Winship Discovery Fund provides support to the areas of highest potential and of most immediate need in the fight against cancer.
Support the Winship Discovery Fund with a gift of $250 or more. For more information about leadership giving opportunities, please contact the development office.

Wellness Center
At Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, we know that cancer patients and their families need more than just top-notch medical care. That's why we created the Wellness Center to give patients and their families a single source to turn to for help. Located on the first floor of Winship, the center offers a library, hospitality lounge and computers for patients and families to access the Internet.
A gift to the Wellness Center will ensure that patients and families have the services and resources they need to support their cancer journey.
Patient Assistance Fund
Donors may designate contributions to the Winship Patient Assistance Fund which was created in the spirit of one of Winship’s cornerstone values—caring—to help alleviate the financial hardships many families face during the course of cancer treatment. We all know that fighting a personal cancer battle is emotionally and physically draining for every patient, but for those who also face the additional burden of financial difficulties, it can be overwhelming. The goal of the Winship Patient Assistance Fund is to provide short-term financial help to eligible patients who have exhausted all other forms of assistance. Administered by the Winship social services department, funds may be used for a variety of treatment-related expenses.
