Organize Your Own Fundraiser or Service Project
Are you already a member of a service, professional or social group and looking for a charity to support? Or are you part of a business or organization that coordinates philanthropic events? Consider designating Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University as your beneficiary.
No matter the size of your fundraiser, you can make a difference. Here are some examples of events held on behalf of Winship: golf tournament, gala dinner, yard sale, neighborhood fun run, tennis tournament, auction (live and silent), pancake breakfast and much more!
To help ensure the success of your event, Winship provides the following procedures for fundraising and promoting your event or project. Fundraising events to benefit Winship require prior approval from Winship.
- Identify what type of fundraising event you’d like to host.
- Review the Winship Event Guidelines and Policies to confirm that your event can be sanctioned as an event to benefit Winship.
- Complete the Winship Events Application providing as many details as possible, paying attention to date, time and place of event or promotion.
Once you have submitted your application, a representative from Winship will contact you to discuss next steps with your event.
