Winship surgical oncologist Kenneth Cardona, MD, has been named associate chief medical officer for Winship at Emory University Hospital Midtown. In this role, he will help direct clinical operations related to oncologic services and assist the hospital chief medical officer in performing core duties.
Winship palliative care physician Kimberly A. Curseen, MD, has been named director of the Palliative Medicine Program at Winship. In this role, she will provide oversight and direction for palliative medicine research and clinical services at Winship, collaborating with leaders across the health system to expand and strengthen the care experience for patients with cancer.
