Caroline (Carey) Jansen, PhD, an Emory University School of Medicine MD/PhD student studying cancer immunology in solid tumors, has received a 2023-2024 PEO Scholar Award. The competitive, merit-based awards–which provide $20,000 for study and research–recognize and encourage academic excellence and achievement by women in doctoral-level programs.
