Dr Al-Hajj was very easy to talk to regarding why I was referred to him by my Primary Doctor- he explained that there really was no health problem at this point but to be alert for any changes- he was very reassuring and I left feeling listened to, relieved that there was nothing further to do

Dr Al-Hajj for the past seven months been an amazing oncologist. He prepares me for what is happening, checks up on me. He is very caring and kind. He addresses all my concerns. He is honest and forth right with good delivery. On my last visit the results of chemo were positive and he was so happy that it made me feel really good that he showed me his opinion.

Dr. Al-Hajj actually told me I was not allowed to get a Second Opinion on a proposed Bone Marrow Biopsy and unethically scheduled an appointment against my express instructions that I was having three Emory St Joseph Hospital visits in the next 6 days including complicated Cardiac Tri-Lead ICD surgery and the outrageous doctor had a nurse schedule an appointment without my permission even though I expressed in writing within the portal on two occasions yesterday that I wanted a Second Opinion from the Sloane-Kettering Cancer Hospital in New York City who had been treating four members of my family for the past 9 years about my current condition. Dr Al-Hajj is unethical and my lawyer will be requesting a written apology for ignoring my written requests and forcing an unwanted biopsy that forced my lawyers to file a complaint with the GA Medical License Board.

Dr. Al-Hajj is my very favorite doctor. I have had many. He has allowed me to live longer than expected for this recent cancer and when I was his patient previously in Central GA. I drive 6 hours each way to have Dr. Al-Hajj as my oncologist. Several previous oncologist have put my life at risk with misdiagnose and a chemo mixup. I only trust Dr. Al-hajj.

Dr. Al-Hajj was very present during our visit. He made sure to go through everything that has been going on with my care. Dr. Al-Hajj repeatedly asked me questions to make certain communication was clear between us. He asked where I was at with his recommended screening, and sent a referral when I inquired if Emory had doctors in that area of practice. (He sent one to the place I requested during our first televisit, that second.) They go above and beyond.

Dr. Al-Hajj does his best to help with diagnosis and start treatment as early as possible, which is extremely important in the current medical system. In the current system, outpatients (tumor) are usually not able to get the needed care easily. The long waiting time for oncologist's appointment causes delay of treatment, and may create unnecessary cost later.

If I don't proactively ask questions, I get very little information. Example: "Your scans are good". That's it. Another Example: No discussion of labs at the appt. When asked in the past why that is, I was told by him that "if there's any thing important to discuss, I will let you know". I'm tired of begging for info, so now I just look at my labs on my own on MyChart and will send a message via MyChart to his nurse Karen if I have questions.
