Dr. K. Bhatt is the BEST!!! He is also my brother's physician. Dr. Bhatt has shown me that he is really concerned about my health and improving my heart function. He continues to explain how quitting smoking will help and has offered suggestions to quit. He is so personable and remembers all the things we have discussed. He is in constant communication with my other doctors to ensure I am receiving the best care. Emory should keep Dr. Bhatt. He is a good person and a great cardiologist.

Dr. Bhatt (and colleagues, Dr. Bhatia and Dr. Leon) are true blessings in our lives. Last year, they discovered a cardiac gene mutation in my mother as well as my brother, cousins, and myself after further testing. It is likely the same mutation that suddenly claimed the lives of two family members, my grandmother at 49 years old and uncle at 30 uncles. To say the least, our family will forever be grateful for Dr. Bhatt and team for their persistence, dedication, and commitment to finding the answer. Even after the initial diagnosis, Dr. Bhatt has reached out to colleagues at Emory, Harvard, and other institutions. He is compassionate with every aspect of my care and takes time to explain and discuss every detail and question that I ask him. As my husband and I begin family planning, Dr. Bhatt spent extra time talking through considerations before, during, and after pregnancy. Every appointment brings me comfort knowing that I have an incredible cardiologist, nursing and office staff, and EKG technician (Lloyd is the best) for life. Thank you all for caring for myself and my family so well!

Dr. Bhatt is an exceptional physician. I have a rare cardiac disease and it has taken a long time (and lots of cardiologists) to get a diagnosis and the care I need. I share this because my experience allows me to truly appreciate the remarkable care he provides. He took more time than any other cardiologists has taken to review my chart and discuss my condition. I was anxious to meet yet another cardiologist, and he put me at absolute ease. He has an amazing bedside manner, and for the first time I feel fully confident in the cardiac care I am receiving.

Dr. Bhatt showed patience in listening to my concerns and ensuring I understood clearly the possible causes of my disease, and the options for treatment now and in the future.
