Ramireddy Bommireddy, PhD, MSc, is an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Bommireddy is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute.
Education
Dr. Bommireddy earned his PhD from Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India. He also earned his MSc in Animal Sciences and completed postdoctoral training in viral immunology at University of Hyderabad in India. He then completed postdoctoral training in autoimmunity at University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Research
Dr. Bommireddy's main research focus is to understand the molecular mechanism underlying in inflammatory autoimmune responses and cancer as it relates to tolerance to self-antigens and tumor induced immunosuppression or immune senescence.
