Dr. Delman specializes in the minimally-invasive surgical treatment of melanoma. As surgical director of the melanoma program at Winship Cancer Institute, Dr. Delman collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of nationally recognized specialists in skin cancers. In addition to melanoma patients, Dr. Delman's practice focuses on complex cutaneous oncology patients, including those with merkel cell carcinoma, adnexal tumors of the skin, sarcoma and other rare cancers. In 2009, Dr. Delman and Emory urologist Dr. Viraj Master were the first team in the world to perform minimally invasive inguino-femoral lymphadenectomy for melanoma. Since then, the team has taught the procedure to surgeons from over a dozen institutions located around the world.

Dr. Delman's achievements as an educator include assisting in the establishment of the Department of Surgery's Global Surgery Program, and and accreditation of the Carlos and Davis Center for Surgical Anatomy and Technique (CSAT) to an American College of Surgeons Comprehensive Accredited Education Institute.
