Lea Gilliland, MD, is a board certified radiologist specializing in breast imaging. Her clinical interests include breast MRI and tailored screening of patients with increased breast cancer risk. Prior to joining Emory, she was in private practice in Missouri, where she helped implement a high risk breast MRI screening program. Dr. Gilliland is associate professor in the Division of Breast Imaging of the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Gilliland received her MD from University of Tennessee School of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee. She completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee and a fellowship in breast imaging at University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.
