Theresa Hoffman, LCSW, ACM-SW, is manager of social services at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Ms. Hoffman provides clinical social work for patients with hematological malignancies.
Before joining Winship Cancer Institute, she worked at Emory University Hospital, specifically with neurosurgery and neurology and solid organ transplant, where she provided discharge planning, crisis intervention, supportive counseling and education to families and patients surrounding their specific needs. She also brings extensive child and family welfare experience including child protection, foster care and adoption.
Education
Ms. Hoffman is a licensed clinical social worker and accredited case manager. She received her Bachelor of Sociology degree from Indiana University and Master of Social Work degree from Georgia State University.
