Rebecca McConnell, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker working with oncology patients at Winship Cancer Institute's Clifton campus. She supports patients who are cared for by the malignant hematology and stem cell transplant teams.
Ms. McConnell began her social work career in 2013 working in an acute care setting in a pediatric hospital. She worked in multiple inpatient hospital units including the ICU/emergency department, general pediatrics and hematology/oncology. She joined the Winship team in 2021 and enjoys establishing supportive long-term relationships with oncology patients and their families throughout their treatment trajectory.
Education
Ms. McConnell received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oglethorpe University and Master of Social Work with a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Georgia.
