Kharyne Pierre, MSW, LMSW, joined Winship Cancer Institute in 2023. She has worked in medical social work since 2019, working primarily in a acute hospital setting at a level 2 trauma center. Ms. Pierre also has experience working within the mental health sector and is currently a quality of life coach. In her role as a quality of life coach, she assists others though significant life transitions by creating individualized plans and strategies. She offers emotional support to aid people in improving their quality of life through education and guided help in better managing, preventing and/or recharging from work and life-related stresses due to burnout.
