Friends of Winship is a volunteer organization supporting Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in its role as Georgia's only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and premier cancer center in the Southeast.

How We Support Winship
As an operating division under the Advancement Office of Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, our goal is to introduce Winship to a wider community by providing and coordinating:
- Research updates
- Educational activities
- Patient/family support projects
- Special group tours
- Fundraising events
Volunteer with Us
We also understand the importance of volunteering and encourage our members to give of their time. Volunteer opportunities at Winship are all patient-focused. Each position plays a vital role in Winship's focus of providing quality patient care and assistance to each patient, as well as their family members and caregivers.
