Biography
Melissa Lester, LCSW, is a member of Emory Proton Therapy Center’s Support Services Department. In this role, she facilitates patient access to transportation, lodging, financial and emotional support resources. In addition, she offers mental health assessments and interventions and can assist patients in identifying longer-term mental health resources in their own communities.
Ms. Lester is an Atlanta-based psychotherapist specializing in working with women of all ages. She practices using a combination of psychodynamic and body-based trauma resolution methods. She is a Certified EFT International Tapping Trainer and the Founder of Tapping For Groups.
Education
Ms. Lester received her Master of Social Work degree from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
