Lung Cancer Care Clinic at Winship

A multidisciplinary team of lung cancer specialists provide comprehensive care for you and your family, all in a single visit.

Have you been diagnosed with lung cancer? Are you looking for a second opinion? Are you already being treated somewhere but interested in having future appointments scheduled all on the same afternoon?

At the Lung Cancer Care Clinic at Winship Cancer Institute, lung cancer specialists and a nurse navigator help guide you and your family through the best treatment options for you, all in a single visit. When you are dealing with a cancer diagnosis, seeing four doctors in one trip means you can save yourself time and energy and start treatment sooner.

Why are we unique?

You will see up to four physicians in one trip.

In one visit, you will be evaluated by a team of up to four specialists trained in lung cancer care – doctors in interventional pulmonology, thoracic surgery, medical oncology and radiation oncology. You and your care team will decide on the best, most minimally invasive treatment plan for you so you can begin treatment right away.

You will have someone to help you navigate your treatment.

An experienced nurse navigator will be with you at your appointment to answer all your questions. Our nurse navigator specializes in lung cancer care and can help with scheduling, follow-ups and support services.

You will have access to clinical trials.

The Lung Cancer Care Clinic at Winship is different from other lung clinics because it is affiliated with the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University, Georgia's only NCI-designated Cancer Center. This means that you will have access to ground-breaking chemotherapy trials, radiation therapy protocols and the latest drug discoveries in cancer care. Our nurse navigator can talk to you about whether a clinical trial would be right for you.

You will have access to dietitians, social workers, therapists and survivorship care.

The Lung Cancer Care Clinic at Winship is designed to support you and your family as you navigate your cancer care. We offer supportive services that are free or covered by most insurance plans. Talk to our nurse navigator to learn more.

The team at the Lung Cancer Care Clinic at Winship is ready to care for you. We are located on the Clifton Campus at Winship Cancer Institute at 1365 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30322.
