Amanda Baecker, RN, BSN, BMTCN is a malignant hematology nurse navigator at Winship Cancer Institute, working with patients in the Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Center at Winship since 2017. She began as an inpatient nurse serving Emory's BMT unit, also involved in quality improvements initiatives and Unit Practice Counsel. Her experience includes medical ICU for COVID relief staffing, outpatient Winship Cancer Institute Infusion Center, and inpatient Winship clinical trial care, among other specialties hospital wide. These jobs have offered experience throughout the patient care continuum- work spanning through all levels of care intensity. This clinical background has made Ms. Baecker an exceptional healthcare provider to all her patients.
Education
Ms. Baecker received her BSN from Emory University's Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing in Atlanta, Georgia. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Systems and Structural Biology from George Fox University in Portland, Oregon. She is a Blood & Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse.
