Biography
Sheryl M. Bluestein, MBA, MHA, serves as the Senior Vice President for the Cancer Service Line at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. In this capacity, Sheryl functions as the executive leader overseeing operations of Winship Cancer Institute. She collaborates closely with physician, administrative, and research teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and the operational success of Winship Cancer Institute's strategic initiatives. Sheryl is responsible for leading the development and monitoring of key performance targets and budgets for the cancer service line.
With a tenure of 17 years at Emory Healthcare and more than 11 years with Winship Cancer Institute, Sheryl has played a pivotal role in various projects, including the design and planning of Winship at Emory Midtown, as well as other capital expansion initiatives. She is an active member of the Association of Cancer Executives (ACE) and the Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC). Additionally, Sheryl served on the board of the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation (SBTF) for over a decade and currently serves on the SBTF scholarship committee.
Education
Sheryl earned her MBA and MHA from Georgia State University’s Business School in Atlanta, Georgia and a BBA from the University of Georgia.
