Biography
Board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center, Catherine Caprara Braga, MSN, AGACNP-BC, serves as lead nurse practitioner and co-investigator on early drug development trials in the Phase I Clinical Trials Unit at Winship. Catherine served as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in the bone marrow and stem cell transplantation unit at Emory University Hospital, and previously worked as an oncology-certified nurse clinician for four years on the medical oncology unit at Emory University Hospital.
Catherine is a preceptor for Winship Cancer Institute’s APP Fellowship Program and serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University. She has participated in research and published work surrounding acute promyelocytic leukemia management.
Education
Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Franciscan University. She also graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Science in Nursing from Emory University.
