Biography
Julie Caperton, MSN, FNP-C, serves as a nurse practitioner caring for patients participating in early phase clinical trials in Winship Cancer Institute's Phase I Clinical Trials Unit. Julie previously served as a simulation coordinator for the Winship Advanced Practice Provider in Hematology and Oncology Fellowship Program, where she played a key role in advancing clinical education and training. She also worked in the Rollins Immediate Care Center, the first oncological urgent care center in Georgia. Passionate about patient education and individualized care, Julie is committed to empowering her patients through knowledge and personalized treatment approaches.
Education
Julie received her Master of Science in nursing from Emory University. She has also completed the Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Winship Cancer Institute.
