The most frustrating for me was I'm from Atlanta and my whole life. Emory has been the hospital to go to for care. Still to this day which has been nine months plus later we still do not know what has caused the issue. Finally, my oncologist has made the decision to remove the bad tissue, which will then be biopsied and try to determine what the cause was. Just wish this had taken place sooner.

Dr Grajales took time to listen about me about a recent visit to the ER and prescribed medication and order follow up tests to rule out any issues. This was the first time we had met and she made me feel comfortable during the procedure.

The communication is bad.. And lack of empathy when trying to tell them how you're feeling instead of listening to the pt. It's based upon what was taught in school instead of listening to the pt. Learn to listen to your pt. And sympathize a little more when the pt is telling you how they feel and stop going off of what you were taught. When you have a human on front of you telling you

Dr was the first one that in all that I have seen for this that seemed to care and actually discuss things with me. She treated me with empathy and like a person I've felt that I have to be proactive for myself and she made me feel like I was making the right decisions and did not belittle me
