Anushka Johnpulle, LCSW, ACM-SW, works throughout Winship Cancer Institute's various locations and provides clinical social work to its patients and their families. She joined Winship in 2023. She has spent most of her career in the hospital setting but started out in the field working with the city’s Community Care Services Program (CCSP) and serving its clients residing in Henry County.
Prior to joining Winship, she held a float social worker position at Emory University Hospital, covering numerous units and medical disciplines within the inpatient setting. Through this role, Ms. Johnpulle provided discharge planning, appropriate resource allocation and crisis intervention to many patients and their families. Additionally, she was given the opportunity to keep up her clinical skills and learn new ways to assist varying patient populations throughout the hospital system.
Education
Ms. Johnpulle received a Bachelors of Science in Management, majoring in Legal Studies, from Tulane University and a Master of Social Work from Florida State University.
