Sirvan Khalighi, PhD, is an instructor and senior research associate in the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University. Dr. Khalighi is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.
Education
Dr. Khalighi earned his PhD in computer engineering from the University of Coimbra, Portugal, where his research focused on developing machine learning algorithms for biomedical applications. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, Case Western Reserve University, where he focused on high-throughput genomic analysis of cancers.
