Dr. Kim is a dual-specialty radiologist trained in interventional radiology and musculoskeletal imaging. His strength is in imaging evaluation and providing optimal procedure plan for the patients. His clinical interests include pain and palliative procedures; spinal cord stimulators; intrathecal pain pumps; cryoablation of bone/soft tissue tumors; cryoneurolysis; pre-operative tumor embolization; vertebral augmentation/ablation; basivertebral nerve ablation (BVNA); prostate artery embolization (PAE) and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE); and deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and central venous stenosis recanalization. He teaches angiography simulator training and ultrasound-guided procedures training for residents and fellows.
Dr. Kim completed fellowships in Interventional Radiology and Musculoskeletal Imaging at Emory after completing diagnostic radiology residency at Rochester Regional Health in Rochester, New York. He completed a surgery internship at Columbia University at Harlem Hospital Center in New York.
