Jolinta Lin, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. It has been a good experience with Dr. Lin. I would have liked more information about my specific treatment as far as treatment areas and stats on damage to surrounding "normal" tissue (images with treatment contours). I am probably a doctor's nightmare because I like a lot of details. We did discuss potential treatments for my concern about my lungs after treatment, but as a runner I was hoping there would be something protective of heart and lungs, rather than destroy, then ease side effects after the fact. Maybe there isn't anything that protects these vital organs though (not her fault). Since our last meeting I have looked into literature though, so I plan to discuss an option with Dr. Lin. |
