Biography

Frank McDonald, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Chemistry at Emory University. Dr. McDonald is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.

Education

Dr. McDonald earned his PhD from Stanford University and was an American Cancer Society postdoctoral fellow at Yale University.

The McDonald research laboratory explores new and improved methods for preparing organic (carbon-containing) compounds, particularly bioactive compounds that may become new pharmaceutical agents or other biologically important materials.
