Dana M. Meaney-Delman, MD, MPH, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with expertise in cancer prevention, gynecologic care of patients with cancer and high-risk breast and gynecologic cancer, including genetic mutation carriers. She is an attending physician at the High Risk Breast and Gynecologic Cancer Clinic at Emory Decatur Hospital and also practices at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Meaney-Delman is a professor in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory University School of Medicine and holds a joint appointment as professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.
Before joining Emory, she held leadership positions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has more than 25 years of experience in high-risk hereditary cancer, including serving as an attending physician at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is an examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She has been recognized as a Fellow (FACOG) by the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Meaney-Delman received her medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine in Stony Brook, New York. She earned her Master of Public Health from Georgia State University in Atlanta and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. She completed additional training in genetic risk assessment for cancer at City of Hope Cancer Center in Los Angeles, California.
