Grace Okerson, MDiv, MAPM, CCSH, is a Compassion-Centered Spiritual Health™ fellow with Winship Cancer Institute’s Outpatient Supportive Care. She collaborates with the supportive oncology team to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients with cancer.
Grace earned a Master of Arts in Public Ministry with a concentration in racial justice from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois. She also holds a Master of Divinity with concentrations in chaplaincy and justice, peace-building and conflict transformation from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology.
She completed a Clinical Pastoral Education residency at Emory University Hospital Midtown. Grace is a certified candidate for ordained ministry in the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church and plans to continue her ministry as a deacon.
