Background
Ashish B. Patel, MD, MBA, is associate professor and serves as vice chair for quality and safety in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Patel also serves as medical director of radiation oncology at Emory Decatur Hospital and Emory Hillandale Hospital.
Board certified in radiation oncology, he specializes in brachytherapy and stereotactic body radiotherapy. He treats patients with gynecologic, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, head and neck, and thoracic malignancies, and sarcoma.
Prior to joining Emory, he was clinical director of radiation oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, Cooper University Healthcare.

Each time it got better. The initial visit was somewhat awkward in trying to adhere to adjusting my legs for the vaginal exam due to osteoarthritis but during the treatments a booster was provided to rest my legs on and even a hand supporting them when they had to be spread outwardly. |
