Brooke Santos, LCSW, LICSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in Georgia and Massachusetts who joined Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in 2025. Ms. Santos provides support to patients who are being treated for head and neck cancer at Winship at Emory Midtown.
Education
She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Georgia State University, beginning her career serving Atlanta’s homeless population and helping to establish the central access site for homeless services through Gateway Center. She went on to complete her master’s degree in social work with an emphasis on clinical social work and sociology at Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to joining Winship, Ms. Santos worked with the care coordination team at Emory University Hospital Midtown, serving renal, critical care, and general medicine patients. She is passionate about providing excellent care and walking alongside patients and their families during challenging times.
