Biography
Frank Schneider, MD, is an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Schneider is an anatomic pathologist with special expertise in cardiopulmonary pathology. He is a member of Winship's Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program.
Education
Dr. Schneider received his MD from Technische Universitat Muenchen in Munich, Germany. He completed a residency in Pathology and a fellowship in Cytopathology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He served his fellowship in Pulmonary Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Research
Dr. Schneider's research interests focus on fibrosing lung disease including its diagnostic patterns used for patient care, genomic changes and proteomics approaches. He is also interested in using protein expression for diagnosis, classification and prognostication of lung cancer.
