Dr. Sharma's professionalism and ethics is to be commended. Instead of taking the results of Piedmonts testing, he requested that I have the testing again with Emory and I am so glad he did. The testing was successful and it was determined that surgery would not benefit me. He referred me to an endocrinologist. I am so grateful.

Was concerned about pain management strategy during recent surgery. I don't think three Tylenol is sufficient immediately following abdominal surgery. The numerous young doctors are not being trained properly in this respect. Being forced to beg repeatedly for pain medication mere hours after surgery is mid evil. We are in the midst of a severe over reaction to the opioid issue.

Your nursing and secretarial staff are the NICIEST people I have ever had the pleasure working with. I have spoken to at least ten staff members and they all, with no exceptions, were the more friendly and polite people I have ever worked with in a hospital. I have been an RN for 21 years and worked with hundreds of staff. Your hospital is the most organized and has the most helpful and patient staff ever! Dr Sharma had a telehealth call with me and answered all my questions and did not hurry through the call. I give Emory 10 stars!

He walked in the door with a big smile on his face and said they had looked at the ultrasound data and he had good news for me. He then went in to explain the info from scan and what it meant as far as current and future treatment options.

The nurse and PA who went over my history were phenomenal and made having surgery a little less scary. However the phlebotomists who took my blood at the end of my pre op appointment with the anesthesiologist needs more training. She dug around on my hand when I told her that vein specifically was a hard stick and then took blood from my opposite wrist. I was also not told by anyone that for my pre op anesthesiology appointment that I would need to have a cbc done. I've never had a fear of needles or blood and have never been squeamish but she caused me to start sweating, crying, and throwing up when taking my blood.
