We appreciate Dr. Spencer taking the time to talk to us about our next steps. She put in a lot of time. However, she was quite defensive when we brought up concerns about the way our FET and other issues were handled by the nursing team (e.g., taking more than 24 hours to respond to our messages, not moving our financial clearance forward in a timely manner). We felt like she was gaslighting us about our concerns, which was uncomfortable and unhelpful. With the exception of the way she handles constructive criticism (which is poor), we felt supported. She needs to do better about receiving and accepting criticism. People make mistakes and we can move past it if she acknowledges them and addresses them. |

She needs to be more considerate how she gives her advice or recommendations because she has poor skills at that! |

Great team! Showed a lot of concern and care. I noticed it was the only implantation they had on that day and it really shows the difference when the staff is not rushed or have too much on their day/plate. |

Dr. Spencer truly cares about her patients. I was really scared about the procedure. Both Dr. Spencer and her nurse Lisa addressed all my worries and helped me overcome my anxiety. During the procedure, Dr. Spencer did everything she can to make sure I was comfortable. I felt safe and respected throughout the process. I'm really grateful for her care. |

I am blessed to have Dr.Spencer, Dr.Schirmer and Dr.Hipp as my doctors. Dr. Spencer has always been so encouraging and hopeful when I was defeated. I am so thankful that she's my doctor because although she's positive, she's also realistic and helped me set the expectation. When Dr.Spencer was out on medical leave my husband and I met with Dr.Schirmer and he was incredible with helping us establish our next steps. Dr.Hipp did my last IVF transfer and her bedside manner was unlike any I've ever seen! When she gave me the good news about the number of eggs that fertilized and their grades, I started to cry tears of joy and she cried with me! She is a phenomenal doctor and I really appreciate her. These people made what could have been a difficult experience a pleasure. I am beyond grateful for this kind, talented and amazing care team. I never felt like a number and always felt like a person. It's because of them I highly recommend Emory Reproductive for anyone having trouble making their dream of a family become a reality. |
