Dr Styblo was extremely rude, condescending, and arrogant. She was very combative when we asked questions that differed from her suggestion. She kept quoting "we go by guidelines". We didn't go to medical school, we don't know the guidelines. We're simply asking questions to fully understand all of the options and why her treatment plan was the best way forward. We asked about how to prepare for surgery, and her response was, "well doesn't seem like you can walk". That was extremely inappropriate. You should ask, you don't seem to be walking well, is something wrong with your leg. She made comments about how I was even able to do my job. Very inappropriate, condescending, and just plain rude. I was just diagnosed with cancer, I don't need the person I'm supposed to trust in surgery to essentially be making fun of me.
