Biography
Dorothy Tran, MS, RD, LD, is a registered dietitian at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, where she supports patients during and after cancer treatment through nutrition counseling. Prior to joining Winship, Ms. Tran worked inpatient at Emory University Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital, delivering care to patients with various medical conditions. She now dedicates her time on delivering personalized care to patients undergoing the nutritional challenges that come with cancer and its treatment.
Education
Dorothy Tran earned her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Nutrition from Georgia State University. She completed her dietetic internship at Georgia State with a focus in acute and critical care, metabolic syndrome, and oncology. Her education and training have helped build a solid foundation to help patients navigate their cancer treatment and specific nutritional needs.
