Danielle Wallace, PhD, MPH, is an assistant professor in the Gangarosa Department of Environmental Health at Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Dr. Wallace is a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute.

Dr. Wallace’s interdisciplinary research examines how environmental exposures—such as light and temperature—influence the biological timing system (e.g., chronobiology or “body clocks”) and sleep. Her lab employs wearable devices to objectively measure both environmental exposures and physiological outcomes, with three primary areas of focus:
