Cancer Survivorship: Winship Wellness for Living

ready to assist with your survivorship journey.

Life after a cancer diagnosis can be anything but ordinary.  Survivorship is a broad term that applies to people who have been diagnosed with cancer and are at any stage after diagnosis. Cancer Survivorship also includes others - friends and family members, affected by that diagnosis.  

It is important to understand that it takes time to recover and adjust to life after a cancer diagnosis.  It may not be possible to immediately return to a previous version of normal.  Determining what is the new normal may take some time.

At Winship, we understand that life after a cancer diagnosis can be anything but ordinary. That's why we are proud to offer Winship Wellness for Living, a survivorship program that provides education, social support and care to ALL Winship patients and their caregivers and families transitioning into post-treatment life.

SAVE the Date! Celebration of Living is June 21, 2014.

Celebration of Living is an annual Winship survivorship event with a rich history extending back over 20 years. Join us for a day of community, celebration and learning, offering a festive atmosphere with engaging and interactive workshops, information exhibits, music and door prizes for survivors, their family and friends. The event is co-hosted with Saint Joseph’s Cancer Survivors' Network. The event is free and open to the public and will be held in the Fellowship Hall at Peachtree Presbyterian Church on Roswell Road.
