Our Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Center care team have put together information to help you prepare in advance by learning and understanding what to expect with the transplantation process.

Introduction to Bone Marrow Transplant

Ivey Jowers, nurse coordinator at Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Center, describes what to expect leading up to and during a bone marrow transplant, and during recovery after the procedure.

Prepare for Stem Cell Collection

Stephanie Stringer, manager at Emory University Hospital Hemapheresis Unit, discusses what to do three days prior, the day before, and the morning of a stem cell collection. She also covers what to expect during the process and how long it will take.
