Clinicians and researchers from Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University presented their latest findings at the 49th Annual Congress of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) in Washington, D.C., April 24-28, 2024.
The Oncology Nursing Society is a professional association that represents 100,000 nurses and is the professional home to more than 35,000 members. The society is committed to promoting excellence in oncology nursing and to the transformation of cancer care through its advocacy, educational programming and scholarship.
After launching several new professional development initiatives for Winship nurses, including a writing workshop, a record number of Winship research abstracts were accepted for presentation at this year’s conference. Winship presentations at the 2024 ONS Congress included the following:
