Charles Bou-Nader, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Bou-Nader is a member of the Cell and Molecular Biology Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute.
Education
Dr. Bou-Nader received his PhD in biochemistry, molecular and structural biology from the University Pierre and Marie Curie (now called Sorbonne University) and the Collège de France in Paris, France. He completed his postdoctoral training at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases of the National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Bou-Nader's research focuses on mechanistic studies of R-loops and ribonucleoprotein complexes to understand how these assemblies regulate gene expression and maintain genomic integrity in human health and disease.
