Research
Dr. Chandler's laboratory studies how metabolites and redox signaling shape lung health and disease. In search of improved clinical monitoring tools and interventions, the lab focuses on how inflammation alters the airway metabolome in obstructive lung diseases such as cystic fibrosis, and how the metabolism of inflammatory cells in these diseases differs from that of healthy cells.
