Shupeng Chen, PhD, MS, is an assistant professor and medical physicist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Chen is a member of the Cancer Immunology Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.
Education
Dr. Chen earned his PhD in medical physics from Wayne State University and his Master of Science in medical physics from Wuhan University in China. He completed his medical physics residency at Corewell Healths Beaumont Hospital in Michigan.

Research
Dr. Chen's research interest is in biology-guided adaptive radiotherapy, particularly with the integration of emerging techniques including novel biomarkers, particle therapy and artificial intelligence.

Dr. Chen has published a number of peer-reviewed original papers. He is an associate editor for the International Journal of Medical Physics Research and Practice.
