Christine Ekenga, PhD, MPH

Biography

Christine C. Ekenga, PhD, MPH, is an assistant professor of environmental health at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Trained in epidemiology and the environmental health sciences, Dr. Ekenga's work focuses on investigating the contributions of environmental and occupational factors to human health and well-being. She utilizes transdisciplinary and community-engaged approaches to better understand complex public health challenges.

Dr. Ekenga is a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Education

Dr. Ekenga received her PhD in Environmental Health Sciences from New York University and completed National Institutes of Health postdoctoral training at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine.

Research
