Research
Dr. Jin's research focuses on developing machine learning methods for graphs and time series with applications in health care and biomedicine. A core interest is the design of robust and interpretable AI models that integrate heterogeneous biomedical data, such as multi-omics, single-cell and electronic health records, to advance understanding of disease mechanisms and support clinical decision-making. In cancer research, these methods are particularly relevant for identifying molecular signatures, modeling tumor progression and improving personalized treatment strategies. His work also explores the use of large language models for scientific discovery, with potential to accelerate cancer research through literature mining, hypothesis generation and knowledge integration.
